Danton's Birthday Dinner

Dan and I came up with a cool cake for Danton this year. As you can see it's a skeleton, with mice all over it and yes, that's mouse droppings. Not the real kind, though. . . . .DUH! It was one of those "Better than _ _ _" cakes. I colored the whipped cream green for the grass and made homemade English toffee and crumbled it on top. It was yummy. Danton invited his best friend, James Grieder to his dinner. James has been a good from ever since high school. Dana and the kids came too. The pictures will tell the story better than I can.

I just have to say, I think this cake is one of the best of our creations. Gross for Halloween, yet yummy to the tummy.

Allen's Farewell

Allen Warner's mission farewell. He gave a wonderful talk. It was great to have all the family there but Gradon. We had a mighty fine dinner at Russ and Teresa's home. This is where the pictures are taken, in their new home in Sprinville, UT.

Sadie Hawkins Dance

Ethan was asked to the Sadie Hawkins dance by a girl that I don't know. I think she's a sophomore from Hyde Park. Her dad owns the bowling alley in Logan. He carved a pumpkin with the word YES in the middle. He did a great job carving it. This was his way of answering her. We put a colored battery light in it and he placed it on her porch and left. Cute! Danton did the same thing once when he was answering a girl. It's a great idea for October dances, I'm so clever. . . .lol
