Mother's Day

Brady and Jess made a delicious Mexican dinner for Mother's Day. They made dinner at out place. I didn't have to do a thing. It was so nice and yummy. I forgot to take pictures, plus I was a little under the weather so I wasn't thinking straight. Grandma brought one of her yummy apple pies and Jess bought a delicious chocolate bundt cake. I was loading on my diet. . . .the two days of eating everything before taking the drops and eating hardly anything.

Jess and Brady are so thoughtful. I love them dearly.

Grandparents. . . written by a class of 8 year olds

Grandparents don't have to do anything except be there when we come to see them. They are so old they shouldn't play hard or run. It is good if they drive us to the shops and give us money.

Usually grandmothers are fat but not too fat to tie your shoes.

They show us and talk to us about the colors of the flowers and also why we shouldn't step on 'cracks.'

They don't say, 'Hurry up.'

A grandfather is a man & a grandmother is a lady!

Everybody should try to have a grandmother, especially if you don't have television because they are the only grownups who like to spend time with us.
