Isn't she adorable. She belongs to Granma Tawnya and Granpa Bob,
She's five months old. I could just kiss those cheeks over and over again!
Life is too FRAGILE not to treasure each moment

Back in the day, I was a big fan of the MTV show, "Rob and Big". Thus the sticker on my bug window, but a year or so later, I'm not that big of a fan. I keep the sticker so it'll look like a guy's car when Ethan is driving it. I still have my flowers in the vase inside, so to remind Ethan, who's car it really is. . . .so take good care of it Mister!
Livi's mom and dad went to the Comedy show and we got to have Liv over. She brought this disgusting monkey (sorry Megan). I know it's was your grandma's and you played with it as a kid. It just looks like it's full of bed bugs or something even creepier. During our festive evening, Dan came up with the bright idea to paint a face on his hand. Liv loved it and at first, I think she thought it was a real, and would answer the puppet's questions. Then we painted faces on each of our hands and played puppets for awhile. We decided to do away with the monkey (Mr. Nasty), as it reminded us of Chucky. So I did a little photo shot about his demise and surviving th fall. Isn't that creepy of me to even think of that. Livi didn't know what I was doing. Enjoy my creep show at the end of this post.
When the sun peeks it's little head out of the clouds, I sit in my favorite lounge chair that Dan bought me last summer, after my surgeries. I turn on my tunes, or read a book and soak up the sun. It fries my poor face though. But my insides feel so much better. Livi saw me out and decided to come over and join me. It was a fun afternoon, good friend, great rays and awesome tunes. What more could I ask for? I look so beautiful. Love my slipper boots?
Bill cracks me up!
We are so proud of Ethan even if he didn't write hid talk, his delivery was perfect.
Shirley Palmer, Grandma Warner, my mom, Eloise, and Jan. This picture was taken a while after my mom went into her depression. She's in her early 50's and I'm in my late 20's. Shirley is Bob's mom and she came to all our family get togethers. She just passed away in Jan. 2010. I loved grandma Warner so much. She was so much fun to be with. She taught me how to crochet and knit, among other things. I have many wonderful memories of spending time with her and grandpa in Fillmore. Those were the good old days.
Going in tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. to get another MRI of my lower back. Dr. Garg has exhausted his medical treatments and wants to send me to a neurologist. I am so game. My back pain has only increased since last summer. I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted in May, 09 and by July 1, 09, it was infected with staph infection so I had emergency surgery to have it all removed. I was in the hospital for four days waiting for them to figure out what type f infection I had and what was the best antibiotic to use. I went home with a pic line in my arm and did IV antibiotics for four weeks. I was very lucky that it wasn't the bad form of staph and that it went away after my course of antibiotics. That was a rough summer. Dr. Garg has tried many spinal injections at no avail. I could complain and complain about my back pain and my very limited mobility but I will spare you.
Dana and the kids came over for a visit. Dan is wearing Konnor's cool hat, of course, he looks like a dork.
My birthday began on the Sunday before with dinner with the family. Dan made a delicious dinner and I helped with the yummy cake. The "Better than you know what" cake. I went to lunch on Monday with Karen Hyde, we haven't been to lunch in over a year or so. We visited and enjoyed a salad from Costa Vida. Then on Tuesday, Tawnya came up. Miss was sick and couldn't come. Anyway, we went to her favorite place, Hamiltons in Logan. She spoiled me this year with a Fossil watch, a lacy tank from Coldwater Creek and lotion from Bath and Body. She's so good to me. Miss gave me the first book of The Book of Mormon Made Easier by David Ridges. I really wanted a second one to share with the boys. Then on Wednesday, my dear friends, Vickie Inman and Jan Reeder and I went to lunch at El Toro, I love Mexican food. They've been dear friends for so many years. Dana and the kids stopped by around 4 and brought me some roses and Reeses, my favorite. It was so sweet of her to remember me. Livi made me a homemade card that was adorable. Since Wed. was my actual birthday, Dan and Ethan took me to dinner at Chilis and I had Tacos again. Brady and Jess gave me a new framed picture of them. Danton gave me 40.00 to go and buy myself a new hair dryer. Dan gave me this cool little thing that I plug my Ipod into and I can listen to it without ear plugs. I know I don't have any of the terminology right. I know Dan gave me some other things but I can't remember. I'm writing this a month later. Last but not least, my two friends, Amy Evans and Emily Ashcroft stopped by at 9 pm after mutual to remember my birthday. They haven't missed my birthday in many years, since I was the YW president. They brought me cupcakes and lite sparklers and sang to me. I love those two. Needless to say, it was a great birthday. Thanks everyone.
