Cricket is due to have puppies. . . her EDD (estimated due date) is around Nov. 21st give or take a week. We aren't sure of the exact day of conception or the "tie" in dog terms. Dan and I are having second thoughts about the whole affair. What am I going to do with little Crickets running around my house peeing everywhere. I just pray that we can sale them all.
The boys just love Cricket so Dan and I tolerate her. She's now around 5 years old. She's getting up there in age. Isn't that 35 in human years.
This was Cricket when she was just a toddler (puppy). NO she wasn't hooked on Diet Pepsi. It was just a way to compare her height. She was cute as a bug's ear.
Don't tell Cricket but one of my favorite dogs was Gizmo. . . thus the heart around him. He ran across the busy street in front of our house and was hit by a car. Poor Ethan witnessed the whole ordeal and carried his lifeless body home to me. We both cried many tears. Cricket was the replacement for Gizmo.
Cricket knows exactly how Dan feels about her. He often calls her stupid or son of a beep, especially when she sit out on the front porch and barks her fool head off. When that happens the words fly from Dan's mouth and Cricket is in trouble. . .but darn it, she never learns. Maybe she is stupid? ? ?
